Paddle Dryer

A paddle dryer is a heat transmission dryer, a machine that processes organic and inorganic granular and powdery materials. It dries (or cools) these materials by bringing them into direct contact with revolving, Uniform shaped hollow heaters (paddles) without using gas as a heating medium.Paddle dryers are based on externally-heated paddles (or blades) rotating in the mass of sludge solids. There are normally either two or four sets of blades which rotate together to continuously cut into and stir the sludge solid lumps into smaller particles to continuously replenish the drying surface.This fully automated drying process uses the principle of continuous drying by the convection of hot air in a closed tunnel.
