Description

“Heat assist” films have pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) and liners and are applied with hot-roll laminators at 185 to 195 degrees. “Cold” laminating films have a more aggressive adhesive that can be applied with pressure, instead of heat.Cold lamination is your best option when laminating heat-sensitive documents. These would include faxes, photos, and documents printed with an ink jet printer. Cold laminating pouches use an adhesive that is activated with pressure.
