Description

Laminating film is made of a base film, such as polyester or PVC, and is then coated with an adhesive. Adhesives can be activated either by thermal heat or by high-pressure. This coated film is wound around a cardboard core, which is loaded into your roll laminator. This is an extremely durable, stress-resistant plastic that is commonly used as a hot-melt adhesive. Glue guns use glue sticks made out of EVA plastic, which is the material that lines the inside of a laminating sheet. EVA is known for its “clingy” properties.08-Aug-2017
