Passenger Elevator

A passenger elevator is any elevator intended for the transport of people through a building. These elevators can vary drastically in terms of size, speed and interior options depending on the use of the elevator.Passenger Elevators are designed to move people between different floors of a building, their capacity being related to available floor space. Passenger elevators may be specialized for the service they perform, including: Hospital emergency (Code blue), front and rear entrances, double Decker, and other uses.The principle operation of the elevator is based on the ascending push generated by the difference between the atmospheric pressure on the top of the car and the atmospheric pressure under the car.In the past, most elevators had to be controlled through a centralized machine room. Today, there are some elevators that don't need a machine room because they have an inbuilt safety mechanism. There are four main types of elevators: hydraulic, traction, machine-room-less, and vacuum.
