Passenger Elevator Lift

Passenger elevator means an elevator used primarily to carry persons other than the operator and persons necessary for loading and unloading.Residential elevators, or home elevators, are a type of elevator designed for private residential buildings, or small commercial buildings.A passenger elevator is any elevator intended for the transport of people through a building. These elevators can vary drastically in terms of size, speed and interior options depending on the use of the elevator.There are four main types of elevators: hydraulic, traction, machine-room-less, and vacuum.An elevator has a totally enclosed cab and requires a shaft. A shaft is a wall enclosure that surrounds the cab and the machinery. A lift typically has an open cab, except for 42” panels on the sides of the platform. Lifts are generally more basic and lower cost than elevators.These are mostly used for residential applications for single to three passenger models (wheelchair accessible models).There are three main types of elevators commonly used: traction with a machine room, machine-room-less traction, and hydraulic; however, there are variations on each type.
