The Sequell Mind 1 Passenger Elevator moves up to eighteen people at once between floors. Stainless-steel walls and black tempered glass panels form the car giving it a clean, dark surface. Shopping centres, office blocks and other busy buildings use the lift because it clears crowds quickly - it rises or drops at 1.5 metres per second - doors open only when the car is level with the sill. A 1 kW motor on 440 V, 50 Hz supply drives the unit from a separate machine room above the shaft. The design belongs to the Mind 1 range, a set Sequell markets as safe, hard-wearing plus neat to look at.
