Plastic Granules Making Machine

Plastic granules are the common delivery form of thermoplastic materials used by manufacturers of raw plastic materials for the plastics processing industry. Due to the pourability of plastic granules, it is a bulk good similar to sand or gravel and simplifies the transport of the granules. Polypropylene is made from the polymerization of propylene gas in the presence of a catalyst system, usually Ziegler-Natta or metallocene catalyst. Polymerization conditions (temperature, pressure and reactant concentrations) are set by the polymer grade to be produced.√ The granules are formed by the following methods: solid bridges, sintering, chemical reaction, crystallization, and deposition of colloidal particles. √ Granules are formed from the powder particles by wetting and nucleation, coalescence or growth, consolidation, and attrition or breakage.
