Blow molding forms a plastic tank by inflating or blowing a molten thermoplastic tube, parison, into the two halves of a mold cavity. Though there are variations in the blow molding process, the common factors are melting the plastic resin, forming the plastic, and forcing compressed air into parison. Water tanks are used to provide storage of water for use in many applications, drinking water, irrigation agriculture, fire suppression, agricultural farming, both for plants and livestock, chemical manufacturing, food preparation as well as many other uses.
