Plate Warmer

noun A case with shelves or any other device in which plates are held before a fire, over a hot-air register, etc., to be warmed. noun A hollow metallic tray, of the size and form of a plate, filled with hot water and placed at table beneath a dinnerplate to keep it warm. Simply plug it in and starting from bottom (lower fold) gently put the plate in between the protective fold. For more than one plate, repeat, putting the remaining plate(s) in between the other fold(s). We suggest that you start using the plate warmer when you begin preparing your meal.Be aware that some warmers only hold food at 110 °F to 120 °F, so check the product label to make sure your warmer has the capability to hold foods at 140 °F or warmer.
