Plodder Machine

The plodder (extrusion machine) is an important piece of equipment in the entire soap plant. It plays a major role in giving a final shape in bar form soap mass. In the first stage soap is compressed, homogenized and supplied to the vacuum chamber in shape of noodles.The pressing action binds the soap under vacuum and as the soap mass comes out of the conical mouth of the plodder it is cut into equal size bars. The pipe is jacketed to distribute water in it and the mouth of cone has the facility to hold heater and temperature sensor.Soap Plodder is used to refine (soap refiner) and/or extrude (soap extruder) and get soap bar. Refining process is achieved through the use of European mesh number 55 size refining screens (American mesh number 50).
