Soap Plodder Machine

The plodder (extrusion machine) is an important piece of equipment in the entire soap plant. It plays a major role in giving a final shape in bar form soap mass. In the first stage soap is compressed, homogenized and supplied to the vacuum chamber in shape of noodles.The Soap Extruders (also called Soap Plodders) are studied to refine, homogenize and extrude the processed soap (soap noodles + perfume + color) coming from the Mixer. The Extrusion Cone ensures the extrusion of a compacted soap bar.A Traditional plodder works the soap with a pressure up to 40 bars, while a "combo-screw" plodder is able to work the soap with a maximum pressure up to 100 bars. This high pressure allows the use of two refining screens in the last section of the barrel.
