Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying System

Dense phase pneumatic conveying is a process for moving material and is used across a variety of light and heavy industries. It transports materials through enclosed pipelines, from one silo to the next; carefully moving the material, along the bottom of the pipeline, using high pressure and low gas volumes.There are three types of pneumatic conveying: Dense Phase, Semi-Dense Phase, and Dilute Phase. The type of conveying is dependent on the material being conveyed. Abrasive and very fragile material will require a different type of system versus a material that non-abrasive and non-fragile.In dense phase conveying, the material is pressurised with the help of air and then the material and air mixture is conveyed through pipelines. In dilute phase pneumatic conveying, the material is conveyed in suspension in the pipeline with the help of air.
