A prefabricated building, informally a prefab, is a building that is manufactured and constructed using prefabrication. It consists of factory-made components or units that are transported and assembled on-site to form the complete building.Prefabricated modules are three-dimensional components, typically composed of four shop-assembled panels. These modules are arranged adjacent to or stacked on top of each other to form the complete building. They are connected on-site using inter-module connections that are bolted together.
