Low Pressure Air Blower

Unlike the high pressure blower, the high volume low pressure blower fan does not pressurize or sustain a given pressure within a closed or sealed environment. These blowers are designed to pull in or push out large volumes of air which are rated in CFM's or cubic feet per minute.The term blower is sometimes used interchangeably with fan. In general, a blower has a slightly higher pressure rise than a fan: from 1.11 to 1.2. Here again, pressure rise is defined as discharge pressure over inlet pressure. Blowers are used in situations where the system resistance is higher than that for a fan.
