Description: PTFE's mechanical properties can be enhanced by adding carbon and graphite fillers. Generally, filled PTFE's maintain their excellent chemical and high temperature characteristics, while carbon and graphite fillers improve lubricity and wear resistance. Properties: Non-melting, non-toxic, non-stick, non-wetting, non-flammable, self-extinguishing; lowest coefficient of friction, resistance to radiation, tremendous chemical resistance; Food-grade, biologically inert; high weather resistance, non-ageing, low thermal expansion; Operationally stable over a wide range of cryogenic & elevated temperatures; High dielectric strength, good resistance to UV radiation. Applications: O-rings, valve seats, pump & valve linings, diaphragms, packing rings, seal covers, bushes, bearings, insulators, piston rings, pipe joints, filters, guides, non-stick moulds, gaskets, bellows, beakers, magnetic stirrers.
