Excavation & Base Preparation Excavation to required depth as per drawings Base compacted with sand / murum PCC Base Layer: 75–100 mm thick (M10, 1:4:8) under RCC raft 3. RCC Structure Concrete Grade: M25 / M30 with waterproofing admixture Slab Thickness: 200–300 mm Wall Thickness: 150–200 mm Reinforcement Steel: Fe500 TMT Bars Bottom slab: Double reinforcement mesh, 10–12 mm @ 150–200 mm c/c Walls: Vertical & horizontal bars, 10–12 mm @ 150–200 mm c/c Formwork: Steel/plywood with tight joints, smooth finish Coping Beam: Provided at top edge of pool walls 4. Waterproofing Integral Waterproofing: Admixture mixed in RCC (e.g., Fosroc Conplast, Sika, CICO) PVC Water Stops: 150–230 mm wide, placed at all construction joints (slab-wall & wall-wall joints) Surface Waterproofing: Cementitious waterproof slurry (min. 2 coats) OR PU/Epoxy membrane (premium option for heavy-duty pools) Leak Test: Hydrostatic testing by filling pool with water for 7–10 days 5.
