A rice mill is a food-processing facility where paddy is processed to rice to be sold in the market.Husker Machine- Husker is a machine commonly used in rice milling plants that removes the trash from the grains.The basic raw material for the unit is paddy which is locally available. The total requirement of paddy for an output of 600 tonnes will be 750 tonnes at recovery rate of 80%.Milling quality denotes the ability of rice kernels to withstand dehusking and polishing without breakage, and to yield high amount of recovery. It determines the final yield and the broken kernel rate of the milled rice.The spare parts of a rice milling machine include the rice huller screen, the huller blade, and the whitening cylinder. Because of the frequent friction that occurs between these parts and the grain, many spare parts are easily worn down to some degree.
