The Digital Edge Crush Tester, 220 V runs on 220 volts and 50 hertz. It measures how much force a corrugated box or carton edge can take before it folds. A round plate ten millimetres wide pushes at a steady speed of twelve and one-half millimetres each minute. A clear screen shows the force number as the test happens - the operator sees the result right away. Packaging plants use the machine to learn whether the board will hold up when boxes stack on pallets or ride in trucks. The frame is solid and the buttons are simple - the device fits both quiet labs and busy factory floors.
