Roll Turning Lathe Machine

Roll lathes are cold finishing turning machines which shape an object using hardened steel, carbide, ceramic or other types of tooling. Roll lathes rotate the workpiece while the tool is moved across the work piece to cut out a specific shape or surface.Turning is a machining process used to make cylindrical parts in which the cutting tool moves in a linear fashion while the workpiece rotates. Commonly performed with a lathe, turning reduces the diameter of a workpiece to a specified dimension and produces a smooth part finish.
