Description
Mostly used in agricultural buildings, corrugated roofing sheets feature repetitive folds on their surface. Because of their unique shape, they offer years of reliable utility and enhanced strength. Their corrugated design with ridges and grooves make them stronger than before. From the paper mill, rolls of craft paper are transported to a corrugating, or converting, plant. At the plant, layers of craft paper are crimped and glued to form corrugated cardboard, which is then cut, printed, folded, and glued to make boxes.Aluminium is used to make sheets for roofing because it is malleable i.e. it can be hammered into sheets.Applications range from roof structures, corrugated bulkheads in ship building [29], and floors in railway vehicles or bridges [30]. Historically, corrugated sheets were used in aircraft industries as primary structures, in the period between World War I and World War II [31].The Flute is C-Shaped curls in between to the two substrates, also called “corrugation”. It is used to strengthen or reinforce the walls of your packaging. They look like wavy c-shaped lines that are glued to a paperboard. Fluting in the box gives your packaging strength and helps withstand any damage.
