80 mm Zestflow plastic rotameter is a variable-area inline flowmeter designed to measure the flow rate of liquids (and in some versions gases) through pipelines by using a float that rises and falls in a tapered transparent plastic tube. As flow increases, the float moves up the tube until the forces of buoyancy and fluid drag balance gravity, giving a direct visual flow indication on the calibrated scale.
