A rubber roller is a mechanical component that consists of an outer layer of elastomer compounds covering a round inner tube or shaft.Rubber rollers are cylindrical rollers that are used to flatten the surface of the materials like metals, pulp, paper, fabrics food stuffs and other products. The rollers ensure the uniform flattening and avoids ruptures, folds or defects in the materials.As the name suggest two Rubber Rollers of the same diameter are operated at different speeds to remove the husk from the paddy. One roller has a fixed position and the other is adjustable to meet the desired clearance. The adjustable roller rotates slightly slower than the fixed roller.Printing roller coverings can be made of materials such as rubber, gelatine, leather, natural rubber, silicone rubber, neoprene, nitrile rubber, synthetic rubbers such as Hypalon or ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM).
