It is a vertical form-fill-seal unit designed to pack 1 kg laminated pouches of salt in a way that remains clean and uniform. By using a band seal system together with VFFS components, the machine creates seals that do not fail and pouches that are strong enough for commercial sale. To measure its output, the machine is capable of finishing 500 pouches every hour. For each minute of operation, the machine packs 20 - 40 pouches. In this way the machine provides a rate of production and a level of precision that are appropriate for facilities of small or medium size. As it functions the machine requires a single phase 220V power supply.
