Sand Sieve is a tool for sifting sand or other particles in order to sort the particles according to size. It is usually a simple screen of metal or plastic, with openings of a set size, designed to allow particles of a certain size or smaller to pass through, while catching any larger particles.A sieve—also known as a sifter—is typically a basket made of a metal fine-mesh weave with a handle attached. Its job is to aerate and separate dry ingredients like flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar, which will lead to a lighter and more tender crumb in baked goods.During sieving the sample is subjected to vertical movement (vibratory sieving) or horizontal motion (horizontal sieving).
