Stainless Steel 308L Mig Wire

308L, an austenitic stainless steel solid filler wire, typically contains 21% Cr and 10% Ni. Low (0.03% max) carbon ensures freedom from intergranular cracking. Excellent toughness down to -196oC. The bright finish wire produces porosity free welds, consistently. For best results, use DCEP with Argon, Argon-CO2 or Argon-O2 mixtures as shielding gas. Welding of AISI 301L, 302L, 304L & 308L grade plates,sheets, pipes and tubes.Used in chemical plants, fertilizer plants, oil refineries,nuclear power plants food, dairy industries & auto industry.Also used for making furniture, hospital and kitchen equipment.
