In the building and construction industry, scaffold boards—also referred to as walkboards or scaffold planks, scaffold wood, and scaffolding wood (when made from wood)—are materials used along scaffolding structures to facilitate safe working conditions at height. It's a good question, and you won't be the first to ask it. The standard size for a new scaffold board is a thickness of 38mm, a width of 225mm, and lengths going up to 3.9m (13ft).
