The valve is in open state, the through hole is in-line with the fluid flow and hence, the fluid passes through it. The offered valve is closed by rotating the globe by 70º such that the hole now becomes perpendicular to the flow and hence, stops the flow. These valves are not endorsed to be utilized in a partly open condition. Due to the misalignment between the flow direction and opening of the plug, large pressure drop takes place is partially open condition. Besides, the offered ball valves are frequently utilized in shutoff applications. PP Non Return Valve are frequently used in steam, water, air, corrosive fluids. They can handle slurries and dusty dry fluids. PVC Non Return Valve are not used with caustic and coarse materials as it poses risk of damage to the seat and plug surface.
