Sesame seed has a long history of use for its oil as well as other food products such as bread and bakery items. Approximately 70% of worldwide seed production is processed into oil and meal (Morris, 2002).Wash the sesame seeds under running water, stirring and turning them over in the strainer until the water runs through clear. Drain the water and use a wooden spoon to press on the seeds and squeeze out any excess water.
