Mustard Seed Processing Plant

A method of processing mustard seeds, including cleaning seeds from mechanical impurities, conditioning by moisture and pressing, characterized in that the pressing is carried out without collapse of the seeds and husks at 20 - 120 o C and seed moisture in terms of absolutely dry substance 6 - 10%.Throughout the life cycle, mustard plants have eight principle growth stages: germination, leaf development, stem elongation, inflorescence emergence, flowering, fruit development, ripening and senescence.Mustard plants are thin herbaceous herbs with yellow flowers. The leaves of the plant are toothed, lobed, and occasionally have the larger terminal lobes. Plants can reach 16 cm (6.3 in) in length. The yellow flowers grow in spike like clusters of 2–12 flowers and individual flowers are 8 mm (0.3 in) in diameter.
