It's commonly known as a "PIR," "Pyroelectric," "Passive Infrared," or "IR Motion" sensor. This module features an onboard pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry, and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens. It includes a potentiometer for adjusting delay time and another for sensitivity.
