Fluidised Aerobic Bio-Reactor (FAB) as the name indicates consists of floating media of cylindrical shapes and different sizes. As compared to conventional technologies FAB reactors are compact, energy efficient and user friendly.Sewage treatment (or domestic wastewater treatment, municipal wastewater treatment) is a type of wastewater treatment which aims to remove contaminants from sewage to produce an effluent that is suitable for discharge to the surrounding environment or an intended reuse application, thereby preventing water pollution.The FBR system functions like the MBBR (Mixed Bed Bio Reactor), the only difference being, that where the MBBR uses small particles which are free moving within the reactor, while the FBR system has fixed bed material (substrate is produced from UV-stabilised polyethylene) on which the biofilm grows.
