Description
Paper Loading: The operator manually loads the paper stack or roll onto the machine's feeding area. This could involve positioning the paper in a special tray or feeding it into the machine via rollers. Feeding Mechanism: The machine uses a mechanical or pneumatic system to automatically feed the paper through the cutting area. Some semi-automatic machines have a foot pedal or switch to engage the feeding process, while others automatically start when the paper is in place. Measurement and Alignment: The operator may need to set the desired dimensions for the paper sheets (such as A4, A3, etc.) manually or via a control panel. The machine may have an automated measurement system to ensure precise alignment and cutting of the paper sheets. Cutting Process: Once the paper is aligned, the machine uses either a guillotine blade or rotary cutting blade to cut the paper to the desired size. The cutting mechanism is often controlled by an electric motor that powers the blade(s) to cut through the stacked sheets. Stacking and Collection: After cutting, the machine may automatically stack the finished sheets or move them onto a conveyor belt or tray for collection. Some semi-automatic models will require the operator to manually adjust or stack the cut sheets, though they are usually placed neatly in a pile by the machine. Safety and Quality Checks: The machine is usually equipped with safety features such as emergency stop buttons, safety covers, or sensors to protect operators during the cutting process. Operators will also inspect the finished product for quality and adjust settings if necessary.
