What is Offset Printing? Offset printing technology uses plates, usually made from aluminum, which are used to transfer an image onto a rubber “blanket”, and then rolling that image onto a sheet of paper. It's called offset because the ink is not transferred directly onto the paper.If your print project only needs a single colour, then it's considered a one spot colour printing method. Single colour designs, or even designs with a shade of a single colour, look brilliant when this technique is used. To achieve the shaded look, halftone dots are used to represent the shaded areas of your designs.
