A shot blasting machine is a surface preparation equipment in which the steel grits/steel shots are accelerated and thrown on the surface of a material object at high speed by means of blasting turbines. In the 1930s, American companies made the world's first shot blasting machine.Types of metal abrasives used in shot blasting include steel grit, copper shots, and aluminum pellets. Other methods of shot blasting use silica sand, glass beads, synthetic materials like sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and even agricultural materials like crushed kernels.
