Description
91 000 74051 Sika Chapdur (IN) is a one-part, premixed, coloured mineral dry-shake hardener used for concrete floors. When broadcast and worked into fresh concrete, it creates an extremely hard-wearing, abrasion-resistant, dust-proof surface. Ideal for areas subject to heavy mechanical wear like warehouses, parking lots, factories, service stations, public floors, and more. Key Features & BenefitsReady to use; simple application method. High wear resistance & impact resistance. Dust-proof surface; easy to clean. Non-metallic, rust-free formula. Increased resistance to oils and grease.Q1. What is the coverage of one 30 kg bag?A: For heavy duty (~5.5-6.0 kg/m²), one 30 kg bag will cover approximately 5 to 5.5 m². For lighter duty, higher coverage.Q2. Can I apply this on any concrete/slab?A: The substrate concrete must be good quality, fully compacted, with slump in the range ~75-110 mm. Compressive strength of the concrete should be at least ~20 N/mm². Surface should be clean and free of weak laitance. Q3. How long before the floor can be used?A: Foot traffic after ~72 hours; full service (heavier loads) after ~7 days, when fully cured. Q4. Is this product suitable where oil / grease / chemical spillage happens?A: Yes — the product has increased resistance to oils and grease. However, frequent cleaning and maintenance are needed.Q5. What precautions should I take during application?A:Do not apply in strong wind or excessively dry air.Do not add water over the dry shake once applied.Spread in two stages for better blending: first ~60% then ~40%.Use proper finishing tools (trowels, power trowels) to compact and smooth.Cure immediately after finishing, protect from rain or contamination.
