Description

Activated Sludge Process STP is the most conventional method of biological treatment with limited energy requirements. The sludge generated in biological treatment is recycled back as bio medium. This recycle ratio maintains Mixed Liquid Suspended Solids for biological treatment. This technology, however, is very tedious as it takes a very long time to stabilize the MLSS and it cannot handle toxic shock loads.
