SS RO Plant

An SS RO plant, or stainless steel RO plant, is a type of reverse osmosis plant that is constructed using stainless steel material. The use of stainless steel in the construction of an RO plant offers several advantages, including increased durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance.Like any other RO plant, an SS RO plant also consists of several stages, including pre-treatment, high-pressure pumping, membrane separation, and post-treatment. In the pre-treatment stage, raw water undergoes processes such as screening, coagulation, flocculation, and sedimentation to remove suspended solids and other impurities.Next, the water is pumped at high pressure through a semipermeable membrane that allows water molecules to pass through but blocks dissolved particles. This process is called membrane separation and is the core of the RO process. The purified water is then collected, while the rejected contaminants are discharged.Finally, the purified water undergoes post-treatment to adjust its pH and mineral content to meet specific requirements.The use of stainless steel in an RO plant ensures that the plant has a longer lifespan, requires less maintenance, and is less prone to corrosion. Additionally, stainless steel is a non-toxic material, which makes it safe for use in water treatment plants.
