Water Cooler

A water dispenser, known as water cooler (if used for cooling only), is a machine that dispenses and often also cools or heats up water with a refrigeration unit. It is commonly located near the restroom due to closer access to plumbing. A drain line is also provided from the water cooler into the sewer system.A water cooler works by using a refrigerant to cool water. The refrigerant is compressed, causing it to become hot. The hot refrigerant is then passed through a condenser, which cools it down. The refrigerant is then squeezed through an expansion valve, which further decreases its temperatureIn water cooled systems a liquid, usually water, is pumped through pipes. The liquid takes the heat from the components and dissipates it in a radiator. It operates on the same principal as the engine cooling system in a car where coolant is pumped through the engine and to the radiator.
