Stainless Steel Angles

A steel angle is any type of steel bar product that is extruded to form an angle, most often a 90° angle. The edges of the steel angle can be left sharp or rounded off depending on your application needs.Stainless steel angles, both laser fused and hot rolled, are a popular structural shape that see many uses and applications in the steel industry. Stainless Structurals can produce angle sizes from a 3/16” thickness all the way up to a 1.5” thickness with a full penetration weld.Steel Angles are the most basic type of roll-formed steel. They are formed by bending a single angle in a piece of steel. Angle Steel is 'L' shaped; the most common type of Steel Angles are at a 90 degree angle. The legs of the “L” can be equal or unequal in length.Typically, a stainless angle comes in an L shape with flat surfaces extending vertically and horizontally. These two flat surfaces join at a 90° angle to form the L shape of a stainless steel angle iron. The vertical and horizontal extension of a stainless steel angle gives it strength in the two directions.
