Over-the-counter medicine is also known as OTC or non prescription medicine. All these terms refer to medicine that you can buy without a prescription. They are safe and effective when you follow the directions on the label and as directed by your health care professional Pharmacy Counter means an area in the pharmacy restricted to the public where controlled substances are stored and housed and where controlled substances may only be sold, transferred or dispensed by a pharmacist, pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician. You'll work with patients every day and help with their prescriptions. You'll also answer their questions, either face-to-face or over the phone. You will make sure that the pharmacy has the necessary stock by ordering items as well as receiving, loading and unloading deliveries. Difference between Pharmacy or a Medical Store is that for the purpose of Pharmacy there must be pharmacist who must be present at premises to supervise the sale of certain drugs that are prohibited to be stored and sold to any person without prescription.
