he Sugarcane Crusher Mills consists of three roller mills, grooved rollers with under feed toothed roller and Donnelly type chutes for feeding of fiberized cane to Mill. The roller would be of coarse grain cast iron . The cast iron shell would be hot shrunk on forged steel shaft . The sugar cane is crushed using swing-hammer shredders or heavily grooved crusher rollers. Sugar beets are cut using slicing machines, which tear them into strips smaller than French fries, called cossettes. The cossettes are soaked in hot water tanks, while the crushed sugar cane is sprayed with hot water.
