In sugar syrup manufacturing plant, Centrifugal pumps are used for transferring Pre-mix or final mix to down stream stage. Mainly these pumps have extensive application for Syrup transfer, CIP water spray, Purified Water looping etc.n the evaporator, the sap is boiled for several hours at a temperature of 104° C, until the sugar content and other molecules attain a level of 66%, known as 66 degrees Brix. It takes an average of 40 litres of sap to make one litre of maple syrup.Syrups are used as vehicles for drugs such as antibiotics, Antihistaminic, antitussives and vitamins . 2. The reducing sugars, dextrose and levulose formed in the syrup as the result of inversion, are of value in retarding the oxidation of other substance.
