Telescopic doors are usually found in small spaces, as their opening mechanism does not require the doors to slide all the way through the side walls. The doors open and retract, requiring less interior wall space and providing a larger automatic opening than traditional lift doors.The telescopic door is made up of leaves that slide one in front of the other to lodge itself into a reduced retraction space on the side when it opens. These telescopic doors are ideal for small, partitioned areas with little space behind the leaves.The Main Landing Gear Door (MLGD) is a complex mechanism with the principal function of covering the landing gear during flight. This complex element is composed of: a hydraulic opening system, a gravitational opening system, and a hydraulic closing mechanism.There are two separate door systems for standard elevators, the landing doors, and cab doors. If your elevator is built into a hoistway you'll need a door at each landing and a separate door for each cab entrance.
