Tension Monitoring System

A tension meter is a device used to measure tension in wires, cables, textiles, Mechanical belts and more. Meters commonly use a 3 roller system where the material travels through the rollers causing deflection in the center roller that is connected to an analog indicator or load cell on digital models.The principle of the mechanical belt tension meter is to measure the belt tension by applying a certain known tension on the tensioned belt, measure the deflection under this force, and convert the deflection into the tensioning force of the belt according to a certain corresponding relationship.
