A crimping machine is a device for conjoining two pieces of metal fitting with sections of rigid, flexible hose and tubing by deforming one or both of them to hold each other and stick together, as seen when fixing a connector to the end of a cable.Crimping is normally performed by first inserting the terminal into the crimp tool. The terminal must be placed into the appropriately sized crimp barrel. The wire is then inserted into the terminal with the end of the wire flush with the exit of the terminal to maximize cross-sectional contact.Crimping is joining two or more pieces of metal or other ductile material by deforming one or both of them to hold the other. The bend or deformity is called the crimp.
