Description
The ARICO APA Series is a fully automatic, computer-controlled Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) built by ARICO India, a top manufacturer in Delhi. It uses thermogravimetry — measuring weight changes as a sample is heated — to accurately determine: air-dry moisture ash volatile matter fixed carbon loss on ignition (LOI) (optionally) calorific value It works across a wide range of materials, including coal, coke (RPC), biomass, and many organic, inorganic, or synthetic substances. Each furnace in this system has a very precise electronic balance, carefully insulated from both external environment and internal disturbances. Thanks to its thermogravimetric method, the analyzer can process up to 19 samples in one go, fully automatically and continuously. Some performance highlights: Measuring moisture and ash usually takes 120–150 minutes per batch. Volatile matter can be measured in about 7 minutes per sample. After these core measurements, the system automatically calculates calorific value, fixed carbon, and even hydrogen content.
