Two Post Lifts Clear Floor

A two post hydraulic lift works on following principle that putting pressure on a non-compressible fluid in a cylinder will exert equal force to all sides of the container. In other words, the floorplate assembly is mounted on the concrete and you can drive larger vehicles across it.There are two different types of 2-post lifts, an overhead model and a floor-plate model. The main difference between these two models is that one has an overhead bar connecting the two posts, while the other has a plate running across the floor connecting the posts. This helps to stabilize the posts while in use.
