Ultrafiltration System

Ultrafiltration is a water treatment process that uses a hollow fiber or a sheet membrane to mechanically filter water containing very small particulate. An ultrafiltration drinking water system uses this super fine membrane technology to filter particulate down to 0.025 microns.Essentially, reverse osmosis filtration works by forcing water molecules through a semipermeable membrane that filters out contaminants, and this type of filtration is more effective than many other options.Commercial water purification is used to treat large volumes of water at high-flow rates. The type of water treatment utilized in a system will largely depend on the desired purity level of the final water makeup.Type III grade water, also known as RO water, is water produced through the purification technology reverse osmosis. Of all the pure water types it has the lowest level of purity, but is typically the starting point for basic lab applications, such as cleaning glassware, heating baths or media preparation.
