The Universal Tensile Machine, rated at 5000 Kgf, is a strong, multi purpose device that pulls samples until they break and then records the force needed. It handles metals, plastics, rubber, cloth plus composite items. A 3 hp induction motor from Crompton or Bharat Bijlee drives the unit through a gearbox and a Crompton or Delta speed drive - the operator sets exact pull speeds.
