Coolers work above 1˚ C (34˚F), while freezers work below 0˚C (32˚F).Chilled water temperatures (leaving from the chiller) usually range from 1 to 7 °C (34 to 45 °F), depending upon application requirements. Commonly, chillers receive water at 12°C (entering temperature), and cool it to 7°C (leaving temperature).Chillers are further categorized by the type of compressor technology used: (1) centrifugal, (2) scroll, (3) reciprocating, and (4) screw. Chiller units are refrigerant systems that aid in cooling residential/commercial spaces, machines, industrial operations, and industrial chemicals.
